About The Book

Neva Stephenson has spent the past twenty-five years regretting the day her family fell apart and most of her decisions that came after. The knowledge that those decisions left lasting scars on her children, which led to their dysfunctional lives as adults, has been her own private hell. She would do anything to get them to change their lives for the better before it’s too late.

But is there a limit to the influence a mother should have over the lives of her adult children?

Neva is about to find out. She’s got a trunk full of guilt, a bank account full of money, and a plan to get rid of both- by delivering the “mother” of all ultimatums.

Will her three grown children be willing to accept her meddling and take her up on it, or are some truths too hard to face?

Hello Reader! In case you’re wondering, here’s a bit about me…
I was born and raised in Iowa. I’ve also lived in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, so “the Midwest” is usually my answer to the question “Where are you from?” I’ve also lived in Arizona, and currently reside in Florida. (Bring on the sunshine, beach days, and amusement parks!)
I enjoyed success in my marketing and mind, body, wellness careers while raising my family, but am now devoting myself full-time to the one passion (besides my husband) that has remained a constant for me: writing.
When I’m not lost in a sea of words, you can find me snuggled up with a book, devouring audio books like my life depends on it, creating culinary experiments in the kitchen, or hanging with my fur babies and hubby of 30+ years.
P.S. I’m also a lover of 80’s tunes, all things taco, people who crack me up, and hot chai lattes (it’s Christmas in a cup!)
